Joy is a Licenced Massage Therapist with over 1000 hours of education and over 15 years of experience in the healing field. She specializes in Deep Tissue Massage while incorporating Swedish for relaxation and calming of the nerves. Her method is shown to be effective in pain management through the loosening of tissues, helping to increase range of motion and improve overall posture. Joy incorporates energy work along with Acupressure and Trigger Point Therapy to assist in releasing energy blockages which helps to increase an individual’s vital energy flow. She specializes in working with the fascia, the connective tissue that holds everything together, which assists in reducing tension held in the body. Joy strives to help her clients improve their habit patterns in the body for better functionality and increased capabilities. Other modalities offered include Hot Stone Massage and Lymphatic drainage Massage. Joy will help you feel more connected to your body by showing you how to listen to the wisdom there to bring healing. Massage has been proven to significantly enhance many areas of life including the reduction of stress and the prevention of damage to joints, muscles, and fascia.

I have been a massage therapist for 20 years. I have worked in a Chiropractor office for 13 years. I am experienced in Cranial Sacral, Medical massage, Trigger point, Myofasial, Neural Muscular Therapy, Cupping and Energy work. My goal is treat a client with care and be attentive to their needs of therapy. I enjoy time with my family, friends, the outdoors, photography, camping, music and my spiritual side.
